Sunday School is an opportunity for Kids, Youth, & Adults to spend time learning about the Scriptures. We offer classes from Preschool to Grade 12 and have numerous adult Sunday school class options, running from September through June.
**Due to the global pandemic, for the 2020 fall term we are requiring registration of all Pre-school to Grade 12 students. Details on adult Sunday school to follow. **

Dear Parents/Attendees
We are looking to resume Sunday School classes in the fall. We view it important to continue with Biblical Education for children and youth, even amidst the global Pandemic, however we recognize our role in keeping students safe and also recognize that not all may be comfortable sending their kids to participate. Therfore we thought it important to inform you of the safety precautions we are taking, the resources we are making available. We are following the guidelines set for schools by the Manitoba Government, and will readjust as the Government so directs.
Physical Distancing: We have measured each of our classrooms and have determined the capacity to allow for 2 meters of physical distancing. Classes will not have more students than this capacity.
Ventilation: ALL Classes preschool to Grade 12 classes will be downstairs where there is ventilation, larger stairwells, larger classrooms, etc. The kids that would have traditionally been upstairs will take large open room and will be separated into groups within that space. The classes happening downstairs will occur in the largest classrooms available.
Contact Tracing: While hoping we will never have to, via this registration and regular Sunday school attendance we will be able to inform you if there has been a suspect transmission of COVID.
Sanitization: The church custodial staff has been very diligent in keeping our church clean. Points of frequent contact, like doorhandles, will be sanitized before and after each Sunday.
Masks: The Government of Manitoba has only made masks mandatory for areas where physical distancing cannot occur. We feel that with the above procedures that we can recommend the use of masks but do not need to make them mandatory at this time.
We will also be asking that if teachers or students develop cold/flu like symptoms or or have been exposed to COVID-19 by a close contact that they stay at home.
We are working on getting a curriculum that can be sent home, should a parent not wish to send their child to Sunday School or if the Province places a public health order that prevents Sunday School from occurring in the church. More details on this to come.
In the form above, please register your child(ren), indicating if they will be attending or staying at home.
Thank you for your participation in this as we look for the safest way to continue the important work of biblically educating the children and youth of our church. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to reach out to us.
